We’ve created ideal spaces to escape from the busy world for a short while, find yourself, and connect with nature. Whether you’d like to stay in a Treehouse in the forest, an exotic Mongolian Yurt, or camp out under the stars, we’d love to host you. The Tree House
Beautifully crafted by the local wood artist, Tony, our Treehouse provides you with a rare chance to elevate your soul above the ordinary and mundane by staying in exquisite woods, enveloped by nature, surrounded by wildlife, and serenaded by a sweet cacophony of happy birds. The rustic but charming facilities include a double sofa bed, a basic kitchenette with a small sink, and running cold water. We provide you with a kettle to make yourself something warm and delicious to drink while you contemplate the true meaning of life on the balcony. Don’t worry about being cold because the cozy, little fireplace works like a dream, and we’ll even supply you with wood. This extraordinary little treehouse is extremely popular so booking is essential.
The Yurt
Neatly nestled beside a tall tree, you’ll find our Mongolian Yurt. Like many things, it’s not much to look at from the outside but the inside is quite remarkable. One might say it’s an extravaganza of colour set in intricate detail that captivates the senses, mesmerizes the mind, and delights the soul. This unique sanctum is the perfect place to reflect inward and meditate on what matters most to you in the outside world. It can sleep up to 10 people so it’s great for small, intense workshop groups.
Max's Yurt
The little brother to the large Mongolian Yurt (at 3.5 meters) is affectionately known as Max’s Yurt. It is ideal for one or two people who want to feel closer to nature in a secluded spot where the troubles of the world are forgotten. It boasts rudimentary comfort and comes with a fantastic wood-burning stove, electricity, and running water. Sometimes the bare essentials are all you need to find what you’re looking for. This is one place to do it!
Camping
Longing for the outdoors? We have plenty of space in wide-open fields for both tents and mobile vans. In keeping with our ecological values and mission to enhance nature connection, we provide happy campers with perfectly functional compost toilets and outdoor showers. There’s plenty of parking too. We do have various locations for electricity and water points to facilitate the essential creature comforts.
Prices
The Clophill Centre is proud to offer these spaces for hire. Our price list is available upon request.
Your event or workshop may require something much larger, such as a sacred wedding or festival. Our 14-acre site can easily accommodate marquees, catering halls, and outdoor arenas.
