Re-wilding at the Centre

Re-wilding at the Centre

Some of you will already know we are undertaking a Re-wilding project here at the Clophill Centre as a community venture so we can all give something back to the flora & fauna that reside upon it. Those of you who know the site will be aware of the substantial increase in bio diversity which has occurred already. We are intent on building on that success and becoming something of a beacon, both sharing and teaching others what is possible.

Projects include:

Creating a native wildflower meadow

Having lost 97% of our wildflower meadows in this country we will do our bit to bring some back

Improving hedgelines

We will be thickening the hedgelines & improving the biodiversity to provide wildlife corridors connecting this land with the local nature reserve

Woodland Management

Creating more biodiversity within the woodland to provide better cover for wildlife including the introduction of wildflowers throughout

The Project Team is headed by Alex and if you would like to be involved please get in touch with him by email via this link
