Kanti has practised Yoga for over 18 years and takes her inspiration from many different Yoga ‘styles’, Classic Yoga, Anusara, Iyengar & Kundalini to name a few. The ‘type’ of Yoga Kanti teaches is really a blend of what she has experienced and she shares this wholeheartedly with her students. Kanti likes to bring a humorous approach to teaching, finding that one way of getting people to relax is through laughter, so although classes focus on alignment in some detail, that is balanced with fun too!

Kanti encourages you to listen to your body, and also rise above the restrictions that your thoughts some times place on your body, in a gentle mindful way. Asana (postures), Pranayama (breath work) & Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation).

Yoga is a great way to manage the stress we may experience in our daily lives, assisting us in becoming more aware of ourselves on all levels.

Benefits include : calming and balancing the nervous system, increasing overall flexibility and strength, massaging internal organs, and generally providing an overall sense of well being.
