Shamanic Summer Celebration

Practitioners Involved: Jurgen Kramer

Venues Used: The Birch Room

Date / Time: Friday 17th June - 7pm to 10pm

Price: £10

An opportunity to join Jurgen Kramer in this evening celebration of what the Summer Solstice represents from a Shamanic vantage point.

This evening will combine a shamanic performance with meditation and dialogue which cultivate presence in a shamanic or indigenous sense. An introduction to shamanism and shamanic rituals will begin the evening, with the performance of chanting and poetry. This will be followed by rituals and meditations allowing participants to touch into their primordial minds for the sake of balancing.

The focus is on experiential exercises and rituals that connect us to central assumptions of a shamanic worldview. The meditations are designed to revive the felt sense of interconnection and and to catalyze an indigenous sense of presence. The evening as a whole will celebrate this time around the summer solstice from a shamanic vantage point.
