The music is inspired by their love of the Mongolian Overtone/Undertone singing, Ancient Central Asian stories, the sacredness of the Earth, Tuvan Shamanic Bear Song and the eternity of the universal spiritual vibration.

Michael Ormiston has been studying Khöömii (Mongolian Overtone Singing) for 20 years travelling to Mongolia six times where he learnt from masters of the Mongolian tradition. There he was initiated into sacred and secular aspects of this amazing way of connecting to the power of the voice. For the past 15 years Michael has led workshops, evenings & therapy sessions in Relaxation, Meditation & Deep Listening using Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs & Sacred Sound instruments.

Candida Valentino

Candida Valentino began studying sound therapy in 1991, working with toning, overtone singing and voice work as a tool for healing. She trained with Chris James & completed The Power of Sound Teacher Training in 1999. Candida is the only British woman to sing Khargyraa, an undertone style that has strong connections with shamanistic practices of Mongolia and Tuva. She uses the healing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gongs & Sacred Sound instruments in individual sessions and in concerts in the UK & Europe.

Kanti is a Yoga Teacher, Sound Therapist & Reiki Practitioner based in Bedfordshire with a passion for using sound alongside Yoga & Reiki to create harmony, balance & empowerment within people's lives. Kanti has a particular love of reaching groups of people by creating Sound Journey's, through the use of Gongs, Bells, Bowls - Crystal & Himalayan, Native American Flute, Shamanic drum, Rattles etc...& is used to doing this on her own, & so the opportunity to create this Sound Journey at the Clophill Centre with Michael & Candida is an exciting development along Kanti's own 'sound journey'!
